Lisa about internetprofit.orgReceived a voicemail that Amazon is hiring 23 people to work out of the comfort of their homes, and directs me to go to internet profit.org to "complete"my application. I haven't started an application. Does Amazon know someone is using their company's name to scam people?

MJC about internetprofit.orgFortunately I scan my calls, so I sent it straight to V.M. There was a recorded message telling me Amazon was hiring 23 people in my area. Then I was directed to go to a website internetprofit.org to finish a job application. I was kind of stymied, because I didnt fill out a job application and I'm retired.... I haven't checked my email yet so its probable that they would direct me to this site to get my personal info. I'll let you know if I did get one. I've heard that some of these scammers can get you to their site and phish for your personal info. So I would be leery about even opening the email. I've also heard that there's a way to get control of your device and can see everything your typing (mirroring). Nor would I go to their site. You never know....
Teresa about internetprofit.orgSame as the other people above, however, I don't answer calls from numbers I am not familiar with so it went into my voice mail as a missed call. I didn't start an application either so I definitely won't be completing one. Crazy!
